Creating sites from templates
Users can create a new site by copying from an existing template.
Use case: In this example, a student is creating a new site in her Personal Learning Space can copy from an existing resume template.
In order to make a template available in your service you must add templates to the Templates group. Only a system administrator or a manager of the Template group is allowed to create new templates.
Creating a New Site from a Template: Step 1
Creating a New Site from a Template: Step 2
Creating New Templates in your Service
Templates must be created in the designated group Templates which administrators can access from Administrator Portal > Manage Templates. The Templates group can be treated like any other group and can be assigned Managers who are able to create templates.
Use case: In this example Miguel Merino and Oscar Johnson who are faculty in Adams & Morgan College are managers of a group that can be accessed from their Personal Learning Space. The Sharing settings of sites created in the templates group can be applied based on the users who are allowed to access or need to access the template.

Templates Group Space
Users can copy a site where they have permissions to create a new site. In order to copy a site, the creator or a manager of the site should have allowed the Export/Copy permission for the site; if this permission is not set for the site then users will not be able to select the site during the copy site.
Note that sites that cannot be copied are grayed out.
System Administrators can manage storage quota allocation in Campus Pack Fusion. All users, courses and groups have a standard quota assigned and an administrator can allocate the reserve quota available for your service as required.
Use Case: An administrator would allocate the quota for cases where exceptions to the standard quota are needed such as when students are enrolled in course that requires them to create content with large media files.

Manage Storage Quotas Example
In this example the standard quota is 20 MB and the service has available 200 GB of storage space to allocated out of which 700 MB have been allocated.

Groups in Campus Pack Fusion now support the self-enrollment policy. A manager of the group has the ability to turn on self-enrollment for the group. If the self-enrollment is turned on for a group then a Join Group link become available on the group space. For groups where self-enrollment is turned on, a user in Campus Pack Fusion can join (enrollment policy "User may self-enroll") the group or apply to join (enrollment policy "User may not self-enroll") the group pending approval by a manager.
Note: The default setting is off for self-enrollment; a manager must explicitly turn it on and choose the required policy.

When creating a hyperlink in the editor a new option Open in a new window allows launching the target web page of the hyperlink in a new window.
For users who login directly to Campus Pack Fusion, checking the option "Keep me logged in on this computer" on the Log In screen will keep the user signed in after re-starting the browser. Users are required to re-login every 7 days. This is an enhancement over the behavior in previous versions where a user was logged out when the browser session was terminated by closing the browser.
The Administrator Portal includes 2 new screens - Manage Templates and Manage Storage Quotas. The Manage Uploads screen has been deprecated with the new Manage Storage Quotas functionality. The labels for some of the screens have also been updated to more closely match the function.
Administrator Portal
A user can create a Link to any site that s/he can access in a Personal Learning Space or a group space where s/he has permissions to create new sites.
The procedure to link a site is similar to Site Copy the difference is that the link references the original site, whereas, if a user copies a duplicate is created which is not linked in any way to the original site.
Quota management allows administrators to set limits on storage quota. End users can also manage the storage quotas used within their course and group spaces and within the sites they have created.
Managing Attachments in a Site
Users with management permissions on a site can access a screen that lists all attachments (images, audio/video files, documents, etc) that were added to the site.

Managing Sites in a Course/Group Space
Users with management permissions on a course or group space can manage all sites in that course or space on a single screen.
Note: For users accessing Campus Pack Fusion from an LMS, the Course Space can be accessed as below:

Blackboard Vista/CE:

When a user exports a site instead of making the user wait while the export completes, which could potentially take a long time for large sites, the export runs in the background. The user is able to continue using the application and when the export completes s/he is displayed an alert.

The latest version of the Blackboard Learn Connector can detect a Campus Pack Fusion content item that has been copied from another content item in the same or different course. For a copied content item, the first time an instructor clicks through the content item or clicks through any Campus Pack Fusion content item in the copy of the course, Campus Pack Fusion completes the copy of the content item. The instructor is displayed a screen notifying her that the copy is in progress. Students will not be able to access a copied content item until the instructor clicks through and completes the copy.
