Campus Pack tightly integrates with your existing learning management system so assignments leveraging social media tools live alongside other course content.

  • Create collaborative and interactive assignments
  • Build and store assignment templates
  • Develop student-generated knowledge repositories
  • Increase the visibility of students' work and facilitate peer review
  • Provide unique assessment features
  • Engage students with the social media tools they already use, within the context of the LMS they already know.

Add a site - blog, wiki, podcast or journal

    Configure your site

Add a blog, wiki, journal or podcast to a course

To add a site to your Blackboard course, select the site type from drop down menu in the Blackboard course site.

Course Blogs - Select a Campus Pack Blog from the drop down menu in the course site. To add a new blog, choose the New radio button and then Submit. Linking to an existing blog is also an option.

Configure a Course Site - Site Owners, usually the Course Instructor, have several options for Configuring and Managing a site.

Subscribe - Users can subscribe to notifications of changes to a Campus Pack site and receive email notifications when changes are made to a site.

Export - Sites can be exported as zip files by clicking on the Export link.

The contents of the zipped file will appear as below.

Settings - Site settings include the Title, Description, options for a custom icon and theme options to change the look of the site.

Site Permissions - privileges for all sites and spaces are managed with the Sharing option and from the Permissions screen. This is where a site or space manager or other individual with privileges can determine who can view the site, as well as which users have permissions to edit, comment, tag, and/or manage the site.

Site Widgets - A widget is something that you can easily add to a site within Campus Pack.

    Assessment

The Assessment tool built into Campus Pack provides transparency into assignments. Instructors can see student contributions to blogs, wikis, podcasts and journals as well as gain a better understanding of student progress. Click the Assessment link in a site for statistics.

    Manage Attachments

Recycle - Individual sites can be recycled for re-use by instructors. CAUTION: Once content is recycled from a site it cannot be recovered. Before recycling content, it is recommended that you export a zipped file so you can maintain an offline copy of the original site content.
