Instructors have more options than students in changing the settings and permissions for a course site. Settings can be accessed to change the icon for the site and the theme. Permissions impact who can view and edit a site.

Sites can have viewers and authors (instructors are the site owners.) Secure email invitations can also be issued to invite a user who does not have an account in your system to participate as a viewer or an author in a specific site.
