Campus Pack 4.4 User Guide

There are several ways to assess social learning assignments. The Assessment tool built into Campus Pack provides transparency into assignments. Instructors can see student contributions to blogs, wikis, podcasts and journals as well as gain a better understanding of student progress. Click the Assessment link in a site for item statistics.

 

 

In Blogs, and blog-based sites, activity summary statistics include Total Entries, Total Views, and Total Comments along with a grid of individual student information. 

 

In Wikis, and wiki-based sites, activity summary statistics include Total Pages, Total Views, Total Revisions, Total Comments Initiated, and Total Comments along with a grid of individual student information:

• Last View - the last time the site was accessed by the user
• Total Pages Edited - compares the number of pages in the wiki, and the number pages that have been edited but the user
• Total Comments Initiated - compares the set of comments that were not replies across all pages, and the set of comments that were not replies that were made by the user
• Total Comments - compares the set of comments, including replies, across all pages, and the set of comments that were made buy the user
• Total Views - compares the number of views by all users and the number of views made by the user
• Total Revisions - compares the number of page versions across all pages in the site, and the number of versions edited by the user

 

 

Instructors can click on a student and Evaluate Participants individually.
