Content Availability - In Campus Pack, you can now change a content item's availability in its settings page.  

 

Batch Creation and Management of Content - allows instructors and course builders to quickly and easily create assignments that are rolled out to individual students or course groups.

 

Authenticated RSS – Users can subscribe to RSS feeds for content that is public or has private permissions. This makes RSS available everywhere in Campus Pack.

 

Export 2.0 - The export code has been re-worked to support multiple export formats.  Initially, the released version of the new feature will add a single HTML page plus attachments in a ZIP file in addition to the multiple page, or standalone site format.

Recycle Improvements

When recycling sites that were copied from another course, we are now looking at the enrollment information from BOTH courses.

When a site is created by a user who's content we are deleting, rather than just deleting the site wholesale, we are now going to look at all pages, individually.  Only the pages created by users whose content we are deleting will be deleted.  Pages created by other users will not.

 

Improved user experience for “Break Lock” function.

 

WAV files transcoded to MP3 - any WAV files uploaded to a podcast will be transcoded into MP3s, to make for lower-bandwidth downloads.  This format is also better suited for podcasts.

 

Users can now play m4a and m4v files inline

 

 

British - English Dictionary added to spell-checker.

 

Facebook based login - allows users to use a facebook login to access Campus Pack. This function is turned off by default, but system administrators can ebable

 

Non UI Improvements

 

Trash Can – Users can now trash items that will be recoverable (within a period of 90 days).  This feature is transparent to users (users still delete and purge items as normal), however administrators will be able to recover specific "trashed" items.
