By default, new sites are only accessible by the owner of the Expo Site and by system administrators. To make a site available to other people, you will need to set additional sharing options.

This will direct you to the Sharing page for the site you are managing.
Expo LX users can manage sharing and permissions from the Sharing page for each of their Expo sites.
Expo LX allows you to assign any combination of the four following permissions to individual people or to groups of people in Expo:
View
Users with the View permission will be allowed to visit the site and see all of the wiki pages or blog entries there.
Edit
Users with the Edit permission will be able to add, delete, and modify wiki pages or blog entries in the site.
Comment
Users with the Comment permission will be able to add comments to wiki pages or blog entries in the site.
Export
Users with the Export permission will be able to download a Zip file containing HTML versions of the wiki pages or blog entries in the site. The exported site can be viewed offline or uploaded to a web server.
Expo LX users can invite an individual person to share any of their Expo sites using only that person's email address. Any of the above-listed permissions can be assigned to the invited person. Note that all invitations include the View permission at the very least.
When inviting a person to share your Expo site, the following sections of the form must be completed:
Type the recipient's name and the recipient's email address in the appropriate fields.
Note: Your system administrator can disable the ability to share sites with people who do not have a login to the system. If this is done, the person with whom you share your site will be required to login to the system in order to access your site. In this case, a note will be displayed in this section to indicate that sharing with external users has been disabled.
Select the permissions that should be assigned to the invited person. The View permission is selected by default and cannot be deselected since that is the lowest level of permission that can be assigned. See the Permissions section in this topic.
If the invitation should be limited to a specific period of time, select the on radio button and select an expiration date using the calendar tool. By default, invitations do not have expiration dates.
Note: Your system administrator can disable the ability to assign permissions other than View. If this is done, then you will not be able to select the Comment, Edit, and Export permissions. The View permission will be selected, however, and you can allow users to view your site in this case.
You can share the invitation with the intended recipient in one of two ways:
To copy the link to the site, right-click on the "link" hyperlink and copy the link location. You can send your own email containing that link or otherwise convey the link to the intended recipient.
To email an invitation:
Note: If editing the email message, make sure to include the link to the site. If the link does not appear in the default email message, copy the link by right-clicking on the "link" hyperlink and copying the link location, then paste that link in the email message. Without this link, the invitation recipient will not be able to access the site with the assigned permissions.
When you have completed the form, click the OK button. This will create the invitation with the associated permissions and, if selected, email the invitation to the recipient.
Expo LX users can share their Expo sites with different groups of users. On the Share Site page, there are four possible options for sharing with groups:
The above options will appear only if the system administrator has enabled each option.
Options for sharing with groups are available on the Share Site page.
Expo LX users can their Expo sites with specific groups of users. Any of the above-listed permissions can be assigned to the invited group. See the Permissions section in this topic. When a site is shared with a particular group of users, users within that group can find your site when browsing Expo and will have the permissions assigned to them. For each of the following groups, select the permissions that should be assigned to members of the group and set an expiration date, if needed.
The Share with Everyone options allow Expo LX users to make their Expo sites available for any user, inside or outside the system. The sharing options are as follows:
To share a site with users at the institution only, select the All registered users at this institution option.
To share a site with anyone, regardless of whether they are a member of the institution or not, select the Everyone in the world option.
Note: The system administrator may choose to disable sharing with users who are not members of the institution. If this is done, the Everyone in the world option will not be appear on this page.
The Share with Course option allows Expo LX users to make their Expo sites available to all users enrolled in a selected course. Expo LX users can share with any course in which they are enrolled.
Users can also share their Expo sites with all users enrolled in a selected organization. Similar to sharing with courses, Expo LX users can share with any organization in which they are a member.
The Share with Role option allows Expo LX users to share with users with specific roles in the institution, such as Faculty or Students.
