Adding a Podcast Episode

Podcast episodes are displayed within a course in chronological order. They can be played directly from the Expo LX page by users who have been granted access. If external users subscribe to the
podcast feed, the episodes can be played in a podcatcher or on an mp3 player.

 

Before uploading a podcast episode, you must first create the podcast page. See Creating a New Page in the Using a Podcast section.

 

Content media can be uploaded from your computer. You can also copy the media stored on the Blackboard Content System to your podcast page, as well as link to content media stored on another website.

 

 

1. Navigate to the podcast page in Expo LX.
2. Click the Add Episode link in the Actions section of the sidebar.
3. Enter a title for the podcast episode in the Title field.
4. Describe the episode in the Description field.
5. If the content media is stored on your computer, click the Browse button for the Attach local file option and navigate to and select the file.
6. Click the Submit button.

 

If you want to attach additional files to the episode, in the Supplemental Attachments section, click the Browse button and navigate to and select the files.
