Administrators can limit the amount of disk space used by Expo sites on the system. If server space is limited at your institution, setting disk quotas can ensure that students and faculty members can use Expo without over-extending your storage space.
Administrators can limit the size of files that are uploaded to the blogs and wikis. This limit applies to uploaded documents and embedded images in any blog or wiki in an Expo site.
10 MB is the default maximum file upload size in the system. This value can be increased or decreased by the administrator, but only integers can be entered in this field. To remove any limits on file upload size, enter a "0" in this field.
Administrators can limit the amount of disk space used by each Expo LX user. The default maximum Expo site size is 10 MB. This quota applies to all blogs, wikis, and profile content added by the user in their Expo site. This value can be increased or decreased by the administrator, but only integers can be entered in this field. To remove any limits on disk space usage, enter a "0" in this field.
Note that this value is separate from the maximum file upload size. If no disk quotas are specified, the size of upload files will still be limited if a maximum file upload size is specified.
Administrators can specify system users who should be exempt from disk quotas. To ignore disk quotas for specific users, do the following:
