Installation

Important: If you have a previous release of Podcast LX on your server, please review the Upgrading Podcast LX topic.

1. Download the Podcast .war file from the download site and save it to your desktop.
2. Open a web browser and navigate to your Blackboard server.
3. Login to the server as an administrator.
4. Navigate to the System Admin tab.
5. Click the Manage Building Blocks link.
6. Click the Install Building Block link.
7. Click the Browse button.
8. Navigate to your desktop and choose the saved .war file by double-clicking on it.
9. Click the Submit button on the webpage. The file will then upload.
10. Click on the OK button on the receipt page to return to the Manage Building Blocks page.
11. Change the status of Podcast LX to “Available.”
12. Click the OK button on the Make Building Block Available page.
13. Click the OK button on the receipt page to return to the Manage Building Blocks page.
14. The extension is now installed.
