Installation

Important: If you have a previous release of ExpoLX on your server, please review the Upgrading Expo LX topic.

1. Download the Expo.war file from the download site and save it to your desktop.
2. Open a web browser and navigate to your Blackboard server.
3. Login to the server as an administrator.
4. Navigate to the Admin Panel.
5. Click the Manage Building Blocks link.
6. Click the Install Building Block button.
7. Click the Browse button.
8. Navigate to your desktop and choose the saved .war file by double-clicking on it.
9. Click the Submit button on the webpage. The file uploads.
10. Click the OK button on the receipt page to return to the Manage Building Blocks page.
11. Change the status of Expo LX to “Available.”
12. Click the OK button on the Make Building Block Available page.
13. Click the OK button on the receipt page to return to the Manage Building Blocks page.
14. The extension is now installed.
